Njob description, powers and responsibilities of the position Controller senior:

As a Senior Controller, you will be actively involved in the production of regular reports on financial and operational results. You will also ensure the control of the entrusted agenda and prepare the annual financial plan, including its continuous adjustments during the year.

At the same time, you will collect and analyse financial and operational data that will serve as a basis for further analysis and decision-making. In this position, you will define key objectives and support their achievement with effective proposals. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring and managing cashflow, and you will be expected to be proactive and take initiative in suggesting improvements.

Finally, you will also be involved in auxiliary accounting work where necessary, which will give you a better understanding of the overall financial management process. In addition, working with other departments creates the opportunity for a holistic view of the company’s operations.

Candidate requirements Controller senior:

The position of Controller senior is suitable for candidates with:

  • Secondary education with secondary school leaving certificate
  • post-secondary/higher vocational education
  • university degree I or II

Language skills:

  • English – Intermediate (B1)

  • Computer work – Advanced
  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word – Advanced
  • Data Analysis – Advanced

Driving licence:

  • B

Experience in a controller position/area:

  • Previous experience in a similar position is an advantage, not a requirement
